Plasma rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation is the most popular field of modern aesthetic cosmetology. In addition, nowadays, more and more often, preference is given to progressive non-invasive methods (without violating the integrity of the skin) and even non-contact exposure methods. And one of the innovative and effective methods is plasma rejuvenation (non-surgical plastic).

plasma skin rejuvenation procedure

Most, if not all, types of skin renewal are based on the principle of controlled skin damage, triggering a regeneration process, which ultimately leads to a decrease in the visible signs of aging. The plasma method works the same way, but with a few tricks.

First, the active substance, plasma, is a high-energy ionized gas. Second, the nitrogen used is chemically inert and suppresses tissue burning, displacing the oxygen needed for the oxidation process. As a result, the skin layer is damaged by plasma (due to heating, separation and evaporation), but does not burn as under the action of an ablative laser, therefore, no open wound is formed. This approach reduces the risk of side effects such as scarring, infection, and discoloration.

What to expect from plasma rejuvenation

Reduction of existing age-related changes, prevention of their development and early appearance. This procedure has a pronounced lifting effect (due to the "evaporation" of the skin folds), smoothes skin relief by reducing the depth of dynamic and static wrinkles, softens natural folds, improves and evens out skin tone. In addition, the results not only appear immediately after the start of the treatment course, but also improve gradually over several months. The greatest effect can be expected after about 3 months.

Indications for use

  1. Non-surgical blepharoplasty.
  2. Treatment of stretch marks and remove scars.
  3. Acne and post-acne care.
  4. Eliminate wrinkles around the eyes (crow's feet), around the mouth (pouch).
  5. Eliminate skin weakness: on the neck, abdomen (postpartum abdomen).
  6. Aligns facial contours.
  7. Removal of fibroids, nevi, papillomas, age spots, xanthelasma, dyskeratosis.

Contraindications

  1. Diagnosed oncological diseases of any localization.
  2. Presence of precancerous skin disease in the affected area or such suspicion. Other benign neoplasms are not a contraindication to plasma rejuvenation.
  3. ENT diseases in the acute stage (sinusitis and other forms of sinusitis, rhinitis, rhinosinusitis).
  4. Pregnancy period. At the same time, this procedure has a fairly high safety profile, since it does not cause significant systemic (general) changes and metabolic changes. And in medical publications there are reports of the successful use of plasma rejuvenation in women carrying children. But it should not be forgotten that physiological hormonal changes during pregnancy affect the condition of the skin and can change the effectiveness of the procedure.
  5. Breastfeeding period.
  6. Blood diseases, but at the same time, the presence of mild iron deficiency anemia in satisfactory health is usually not a reason to refuse anti-aging procedures.
  7. Acute period of infectious disease, the presence of an increase in body temperature.
  8. Diseases of the thyroid gland, accompanied by local or diffuse tissue hypertrophy and / or hormonal changes.
  9. Kidney and liver disorders.
  10. Cardiovascular disease in the decompensated stage.

How does this work?

Plasma facial rejuvenation does not require special training, prior adherence to any diet or changes to the usual way of life. But a few days before the session, it is advisable not to use aggressive scrubs and peels, visit the solarium, and people with a tendency to allergic reactions should not try new products and cosmetics.

When using the device, even patients with a low pain threshold do not require local anesthesia. A healing/rejuvenating session lasts 15-30 minutes, the duration of which depends on the severity of the problem and the area of the area being treated.

The patient sits in a cosmetology chair or on a sofa, and the specialist performing the procedure, without contact, directs a pulsed stream or flow of plasma from the tip of the device to his skin. At the same time, it is possible to select the most suitable mode of operation for a particular patient. The session usually begins with an initial treatment of the skin to prepare it for the next stronger effect and to reduce the intensity of the sensations experienced. After the procedure is complete, the treated area does not need to be applied. For the next 3 days, it is recommended to refrain from scrubs, peels, visits to the beach and solariums.

The recommended number of procedures is 1-2 procedures per year.
